BlackJack Sweet Vinegar Sauce
2 cups of BlackJack Vinegar Sauce
1 cup of brown sugar
Combine the vinegar sauce and the brown sugar and let simmer until sugar has dissolved (about 15 minutes)
BlackJack Butterscotch and Bourbon Sauce
1 cup BlackJack Barbecue Sauce
1 cup BlackJack Mustard Sauce
1 cup butterscotch
1 tablespoon Bourbon
Combine Barbecue sauce and Mustard sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and add butterscotch. Allow to simmer for 15 minutes. Turn off heat and add bourbon.
Oven Boston Butt
6 to 8lb boston butt
6 oz BlackJack dry rub
4oz Cheap Yellow Mustard
Allow boston butt to thaw completely. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Coat boston butt with a thin layer of yellow mustard. Completely cover butt with BlackJack dry rub. Place in oven with the skin side up and make sure you put a drip pan on rack below butt. Cook for about 4 hours or until butt reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees. Take butt out of the oven and wrap it up tightly in tinfoil. Sometimes it is best to wrap it two times to make sure it is sealed up tight. Put back in oven for another 4 to 5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 195 degrees.
